Nefasii- Character Portrait

Introducing Nefasii, the “Darkborn” Half-Drow. She’s a new character not only for my CG ensemble, but also in the Pathfinder RPG I play in. Who knows. If enough people like her, I think we’ll see more from her in the future.

I’ve been meaning to play with the idea of tattoos/ritual markings that appear to both be there and not, depending on how you look at them. They would seem to shimmer and slide in and out of view. I’m calling them Opalescence Tattoos, which should give some of you an idea of how I made them.

I’ve also been meaning to create a proper RPG Drow in CG. Would she be grey, as in some games? Black, purple or blue, as in other games? Black brows or white? Many traits, from many different games. When I got down to think about the Drow from all the different games I’ve played, I realized how much they actually vary in characteristics. However, I think I came to a happy balance. I’m really pleased with her.

So... I decided to cleanse the creative palate a little last night before completing the upcoming Tulsa set.  I created something I’ve never done before in CG- Opalescence tattoos and a Drow. It’s a quick one-off piece which, though not requested by gazukull , a lover of Drow (in more ways than one), is certainly partially inspired by him!
